Locations

The Apple Technology and AI in Aotearoa event isn’t about flashy demos or being sold the "next big thing." It’s a grounded, local conversation about how these tools actually function in a New Zealand classroom. We want to move past the "wow factor" and look at the practicalities of making this work for our staff and our learners.
We’re focusing on what this looks like in practice:
Workflow, not workload: We’ll explore how to use the Apple tools you already have, enhanced by AI, to give you back some of your Sunday afternoon. It’s about working smarter, not just having more gadgets.
Creative equity: AI and Apple technology can be a massive leveler for students who struggle with traditional outputs. We’re looking at how to unlock that creativity for every learner.
The Aotearoa context: This isn’t a generic global seminar. We’re discussing how these tools sit alongside our values, our curriculum, and our unique needs here in New Zealand.
Meaningful integration: How do we move from "using an iPad" to "enhancing pedagogy"? We’re sharing honest stories of what that transition actually looks like.
If you’re looking to cut through the digital noise and find a clear, manageable path forward, come join us. It’s a day for curious educators to connect, share, and see what’s actually possible when the tech gets out of the way of the teaching.
