This is the third and final session of an international webinar series that brings together farmers, ranchers and agritech innovators from New Zealand, Australia, Colorado and Wyoming to discuss shared challenges in pasture and rangeland agriculture. Session 3 looks at what it takes for agritech businesses and farming communities to scale beyond a good idea: investment and capital pathways, policy and trade settings, regional development, innovation infrastructure, public-private collaboration and international market development. Speakers include Ruth Leary, Head of Strategy and Engagement at AgriZeroNZ, and Stephanie Garnica from Denver's Economic Development & Opportunity Office, with more to be confirmed, and there's live audience Q&A.
It runs online on Zoom from 10am to 11am NZDT on Tuesday 27 October (3pm MDT on 26 October in Colorado and Wyoming), with the Zoom link sent 48 hours before. Registration is free and you can submit a question when you sign up. It's hosted by AgriTech New Zealand, AusAgritech, the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade and the Wyoming Business Council, and is aimed at farmers and ranchers, agritech companies, researchers, investors, agribusiness leaders, policy makers and economic development organisations.
