SUMMARY:Research to Start-up Bootcamp
DESCRIPTION:The Research to Start-up Bootcamp is a free\, hands-on programme from the University of Auckland's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship that helps researchers explore how their ideas and discoveries can move beyond the university to create value in the world. Over three days\, participants take part in interactive workshops\, hear from speakers and learn alongside peers from across disciplines. No commercialisation-ready idea is needed\; the aim is to build tools\, skills and confidence for current or future research opportunities. The programme is supported by UniServices and Return on Science.\n\nThe bootcamp runs from Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 February 2027 at Unleash Space\, 20 Symonds Street\, Auckland\, starting at 10am on the Monday. It is open only to University of Auckland PhD candidates and academic staff\; individuals are welcome\, and teams from the same lab or research group are encouraged to attend together. Registration is free through Eventbrite.
