Find your cofounder: A speed dating breakfast

Find your cofounder is a speed-dating-style breakfast for founders looking for someone to build with. Up to 20 founders meet one-on-one in five-minute rounds over a single morning. There's no pitch deck and no set programme: come with an idea, or come ready to join someone else's. The hosts aim for a mix of technical and non-technical people, and of first-time and experienced founders. Attendees are encouraged to set up a founder profile on Lineup beforehand so they can find each other afterwards.

The breakfast runs from 7:00am to 8:30am on Thursday 12 November 2026 at Tupu'anga Coffee, 597 Mount Eden Road, Mt Eden, Auckland. It is presented by Work From Cafe. Tickets are NZ$20 and include coffee and breakfast. Registration needs host approval so the group stays balanced, and you can stay on afterwards to keep talking or cowork at the café. Full refunds are available if you cancel by Monday 9 November. It suits aspiring and current founders who are looking for a cofounder or want to join an early-stage venture.
