FinTech Hui Taumata 2027

FinTech Hui Taumata 2027 is Aotearoa New Zealand's national gathering for the fintech and financial-services ecosystem, created by FinTech New Zealand, a Tech New Zealand community. Under the theme Open Finance | The Next Frontier, it explores how Open Finance, emerging technologies and new financial models are reshaping customer experiences, competition and the future of financial services, with keynotes, panels, masterclasses and roundtables spanning AI, digital identity, embedded and on-chain finance, the Open Data economy, wealth, lending, digital assets and superannuation.

The Hui is held at Tākina Wellington Convention & Exhibition Centre, starting with an optional Touchdown Day on Wednesday 17 March 2027 (an Insights Forum or a local business walking tour, then networking drinks) and followed by the main Hui Day on Thursday 18 March, which opens with the NZ Fintech Pitch Breakfast. Tickets range from $295 + GST for students to $1,395 + GST full price, with startup rates of $350–$550 and FinTechNZ/Tech New Zealand community 2-for-1 and non-member Super Saver rates available until 1 December 2026 (all prices plus a 3% service fee). It is for fintech founders, financial institutions, regulators, policymakers, investors, technology providers and industry leaders.
