eResearch NZ 2027

eResearch NZ / eRangahau Aotearoa is the leading conference for research communities in Aotearoa New Zealand, and in 2027 it celebrates its 18th year. Co-organised by REANNZ and Genomics Aotearoa with the support of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, the programme is built around four pillars — Partnership, Innovation, Community and Discovery — covering Te Tiriti in research partnerships, research infrastructure and technology, talent and communities of practice, and work from researchers at the cutting edge of their fields.

The conference runs 9–12 February 2027 in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, with the main programme on 10–12 February. Venue, ticketing and programme details are still to be announced, and the call for submissions (lightning talks, oral presentations, birds-of-a-feather sessions and workshops) is due to open in October 2026. It is aimed at researchers from every discipline, research support teams, research software developers and digital infrastructure providers.
