Kawaiicon 4

Kawaiicon is a technical computer security conference held in Wellington: one of many security conferences in the region and, by its own account, the most adorable. Kawaiicon 4 is the main two-day con, with pre-con events usually held in the days leading up to it. The schedule, talks and other details are published at kawaiicon.org.

It runs from 9am on Friday 30 October to 6pm on Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Michael Fowler Centre, 111 Wakefield Street, Te Aro, Wellington. Con tickets are $99.95 waged and $29.95 unwaged through Humanitix, with separate Kuracon and GGD tickets and merch also on sale; tickets are non-refundable. The organisers note that the con often sells out and that merch is not sold at the con. It is for anyone interested in computer security.
