Creative Tech Summit 2026

The Creative Tech Summit 2026 brings together the people shaping the screen, gaming and entertainment industries of tomorrow to explore the new tools, platforms and ideas changing how we collaborate, create content and connect with audiences. Local industry leaders, international speakers and the next generation of creatives and innovators will tackle the challenges and opportunities of digital production, development and delivery, while workshops offer hands-on learning and making with creative practitioners. Throughout the day there are previews of yet-to-be-released content and applications wherever tech meets film, TV, video games and immersive experiences.

The summit runs on Thursday 3 December 2026 from 11:00am to 5:00pm at Massey University's Wellington Campus, Block 10 Wallace Street, Mount Cook, and wraps up with an interactive networking event featuring exhibitions, game prototypes and sneak peeks of upcoming screen projects. It is hosted by Creative HQ with support from Screen Wellington, Wellington City of Film, Massey University and the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. It suits anyone working where technology meets screen, games and interactive entertainment, and tickets will be available through Creative HQ's events site.
