Done Something Meetup: Find a Founder

Find a Founder is DOSO's November Done Something meetup, bringing together people with ideas they can't build alone, people with skills looking for something new to apply them to, and those simply curious about what Taranaki's enterprising people are thinking about. People with an idea get a few minutes to explain it, the problem it could solve and the help or collaborator that would move it forward, with no polished pitch or business plan needed. Afterwards the room becomes a mixer where attendees can meet potential co-founders, collaborators and useful connections.

It runs from 5:30pm to 7pm on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at Manifold Coworking Space, 49 Currie Street, New Plymouth, with pizza provided. Entry is free with registration through Humanitix: book an Ideas Person ticket to pitch (a simple pitch guide is sent beforehand) or a Skills / Curiosity ticket to listen and connect. No startup experience is needed, and it suits designers, developers, makers, marketers, operators and anyone curious about new ventures; the event is supported by New Plymouth District Council and Manifold Coworking Space.
