Tool Deep Dive: Copilot for M365 in AEC Practice

A practical online session from the AI Forum NZ on how Microsoft Copilot for M365 can create real value for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) project teams, presented by Maria Mingallon, AI Leader APNA at Mott MacDonald and Chair of the AI Forum. Rather than a generic product tour, it demonstrates Copilot on everyday AEC work such as drafting and reviewing reports, specifications and correspondence, managing a project inbox, summarising meetings and making sense of project data in Excel. It also takes an honest look at where Copilot is not yet the right tool and where human judgement remains essential.

The webinar runs on Zoom from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday 21 October 2026 and is free for AI Forum members and non-members, with registration through Humanitix. It suits AEC professionals and leaders whose firms already use M365 and who want practical prompts, repeatable use cases and ideas for turning that investment into a measurable productivity lift.
