Data, Impact & Influence: From Insight to Business Value

Data, Impact & Influence is the final 2026 event from Wahine in Data Ōtautahi, a local group of women working in data in Christchurch who meet regularly to learn from and support each other. The session explores how to communicate your value, build influence with executives and make your work visible, while creating trusted data foundations and a single source of truth that enables better business decisions. The speaker is Manvi Tandon, Analytics Platform Lead at Synlait, who works across data, technology and business with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and modern data platforms.

It runs on Tuesday 13 October from 5:30pm to 7pm at EPIC Christchurch (Enterprise Precinct and Innovation Campus), 100 Manchester Street. Entry is free with registration through Humanitix, and pizza and refreshments are provided. It's aimed at women working in data and analytics who want to turn complex data challenges into practical business outcomes and build influence beyond the technology.
