WNT Ventures Market Validation Workshop

WNT Ventures, the MacDiarmid Institute and the Dodd Walls Institute run a hands-on Market Validation Workshop for deep tech researchers as part of Auckland Startup Week 2026. The session gives participants practical tools to size the market opportunity for their technology and validate the commercial opportunity directly with customers. It is facilitated by WNT Ventures Investment Manager Niamh Given and Investment Associate XB Pang.

The workshop runs on Tuesday 13 October from 12:30pm to 4:30pm at the Newmarket Innovation Precinct, 298 Khyber Pass Road, Newmarket. It is free but limited to 10–15 participants, some pre-work is required beforehand, and attendees automatically receive a ticket to the WNT Ventures Deep Tech Panel & Mixer that follows. It is designed for researchers ready to move from lab to market and start testing real-world demand.
