The Waiting Room Sessions

The Waiting Room Sessions brings together decision-makers across healthcare and technology to explore the issues shaping the future of care. The October session, hosted by Cyber Team, Speculo and Propagator, featured a keynote from Mark Foster, Manager of ICT Security Services at the Ministry of Health, on certification and accreditation of new IT systems in healthcare, followed by lightning talks from local health tech founders.

It was held on Thursday 1 October 2026 from 5pm to 7pm at the Cyber Team Office, Level 4, Featherston House, Waring Taylor Street, Wellington. Drinks and nibbles were served from 5pm, with lightning talks starting at 5:30pm. The evening was designed for networking and partnership-building between healthcare leaders and technology builders.
