AI for Good Hackathon Festival

A 48-hour hackathon festival focused on building a better Aotearoa with AI, run by Seen Ventures with AI Forum NZ and Unitec, and supported by partners including Databricks and AWS. Teams spend the weekend using AI and data to tackle real-world environmental challenges, with mentors and workshops on hand throughout. It's pitched as more than a hackathon - a launchpad, with Seen Ventures helping shape the boldest ideas into new ventures and startups after the weekend.

The festival runs from 5pm Thursday 6 August to 5pm Saturday 8 August at Unitec's Mt Albert campus in Auckland. It's open to anyone driven to build a better future - students, professionals, developers, designers, and changemakers - and you can register as an individual and form a team at the event. Unitec students can get a discount code, and winners gain exposure to Aotearoa's AI community.
