The Jam | Early-stage Capital Edition

An afternoon of real stories about raising early-stage capital, hosted by Movac at The Maritime Room on Princes Wharf, Auckland. Founders who have been through the pre-seed grind share what actually made the difference, from the first real conversations with VCs through the pivots, the nos, and eventually the yes. The panels cover what patterns investors respond to, what traction really means at seed stage, and what Movac looks for through its Emerge fund for both deep tech and enterprise startups. Real stories, no fundraising theatre.

This edition of The Jam is for early-stage founders and operators who are on the fundraising journey or getting ready to start it. Panels and discussion run from 2pm, followed by drinks and informal networking from 5pm. Registration is through Luma and subject to host approval, with free early-bird tickets and later tickets at $25.
