Mistakes Were Made

Three unique innovation stories about the times things didn't quite go the way anyone thought they would, and the lessons those experiences taught. Hosted by Startup Dunedin during Nano Week 2026 as part of the New Zealand International Science Festival, the evening features founders sharing candid stories of failure, alongside a keynote from Maree Thyne, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Otago Business School. Confirmed speakers include Greg Cook, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Research and Innovation, and Trevor McIntyre, founder of Ripple & Radley, with one more speaker to be announced.
