Aotearoa's flagship Climate Tech gathering
The Aurora Climate Tech Summit is New Zealand's largest annual forum for climate tech connection — and a celebration of the Aurora Climate Lab's founding teams. Over a day and a half, it brings together founders, investors, industry buyers and policymakers to accelerate solutions, investment and partnerships across Aotearoa's climate tech ecosystem.

This year's summit is anchored by a simple but powerful idea: New Zealand's talent, natural resources and research depth make it one of the world's most compelling environments for climate tech innovation. Summit '26 explores how to harness that advantage - and how government, industry, academia and startups can collaborate for outsized global impact.
Wellington is positioned as both agitator and aggregator for the movement. Special focus tracks shine a light on two of Aotearoa's greatest opportunities:
- Energy systems — closing structural gaps and scaling solutions.
- Forestry waste-to-value & the bioeconomy — turning natural abundance into economic and climate advantage.

This day is built for high-value, targeted engagement. The morning runs multiple rounds of private, pre-booked 30-minute meetings between founders and prospective investors or commercial and pilot partners – structured for momentum, designed for deals.
