Whanganui Techweek 2026

Techweek Whanganui brings together local innovators, businesses, makers, educators, creatives and community leaders to explore the role of technology in shaping our region’s future. Across a week of events, the programme will showcase practical ideas, regional capability, emerging opportunities and the people building Whanganui’s tech ecosystem.

This year’s programme includes two major keynote events. Regional Energy Outlook: Insights and Opportunities will bring together regional and national voices to explore energy, infrastructure, innovation and the opportunities emerging for the Manawatū-Whanganui region. Shaping Whanganui’s Tech Future will introduce the Whanganui Tech Sector Proposal and open a wider conversation about how we build a stronger, more visible and future-ready local technology sector.
